Licensed Practical Nursing

A nurse replacing the bandage of an elder's woundUnder a Registered Nurse, our LPNs or Licensed Practical Nurses provide assistance to the patient by performing essential nursing procedures such as health monitoring and coordinating with the RN or Medical Director regarding the client’s health at home.

LPNs are often tasked to conduct:

  • Medical Record Charting
  • Catheter Care
  • Wound Care
  • Dressing Changes
  • Tracheostomy Tube and Ventilators Maintenance
  • Administer Oral and Intravenous Medications

When necessary, the LPN will conduct CPR in emergency cases. The point of having a private duty LPN at home is to preserve life and promote recovery for the patient.
